Although it is not recommended for certain leather conditions (see product caution statement), it is impossible to know how CLAWGUARD Protection Tape will perform because of the various leather synthetics available in the market. Therefore, if you choose to test on leather, apply to clean smooth surface and test in small inconspicuous area for 2 weeks before broad application.

Because paints and stains are made from various synthetics, it is impossible to know how CLAWGUARD Protection Tape will perform with your particular surface. Most customers report no problems, however if you choose to use on a painted or stained surface, first test the area by applying the Protection Tape to a clean smooth surface and test in small inconspicuous area for 2 weeks before broad application. If needed, use a hair dryer to warm the adhesive to remove clean without leaving residue.
